Exercising outdoors has its benefits!

Here are ten benefits that explain why thegyminthepark.com has been successful since its humble beginnings in 2020.


You'll be inspired to exercise outside this summer!


1) Fresh air, not recirculated A/C.


Breathe fresh air, smell fresh cut grass and feel the breeze. I'd rather that than recirculated air from the air conditioning unit!


2) Natural light and Vitamin D.


We all know the sun is good for natural hormone regulation and enables us to get pure vitamin D.


3) More personal space.


There is no one who will encroach on your space or walk in front of you. Maybe a puppy will ask what you are doing...

4) No waiting around or having people rush you.


No one asking, 'how many sets you got, mate?'. No having to ask, 'how many sets you got, mate?'


5) The music you want to listen to. Or not!


You don't have to listen to the generic rubbish that gets played when the gym has no music license. You can listen to the birds sing, or listen to your own music.


6) No stress.


It's calm. No one is rushing. You can see way out into the distance!


7) Get away from the concrete jungle, for a bit.


See some greenery and nature. There is a resident Woodpecker and some friendly Robins.


8) Quality kit brought to the park for you.


You can use the same quality kit you find in the gym, and nothing of mine is broken.


9) There is no judgement. Feel comfortable in your own clothes.


No pressure to dress up. Dress how you feel comfortable. Enjoy the workout.


10) You can park within 10 meters of my gym.


No hunting for a parking space or incurring a parking fine!
